[cite] Tome:[/cite]Flying is too fast. Walking is better. Waiting is best.
Oh, you can do both at the same time. Just fly slow.
Flying is better than walking 'cause you can stub your toe on rocks or clumsy dumb guys when you walk. If you fly, you can avoid most of those things. It's very relaxing too. It boosts my Qi level.
P.S to the webmaster: Why did you move this to off-the-wall discussion? Levitation is strictly a Tools for Taoist Thought thing!

By the way, Does anybody want to learn how to fly?
Oh, and hey . . . I want to fly! Tell me how!
Note: We'll get more profound soon, I promise...
walking is the best, long as you watch out for cars, and falling planes...
You have something in common with my brother.
If somebody else is flying for you, it is probably terrifying for people but even if you fly the plane yourself, there's always the chance of hitting the wrong button or a fuse blows and then *crash*, but if you fly with my miraculous elixer, you don't need a plane. You can just do it yourself! . . like Superman! (more or less). Make cheques payable to cash please!
and Tao Nut: I had my share of 'magic elixers' that 'helped me fly' back in the day...whee...boy, the 80's were fun, but I've put all that behind me now...
If the plane is big enough you can walk slowly while flying fast but if you have to use the john you'll have to wait till I'm done
They should have more than one john to prevent embarrasing waits and lines at the miniture throne or thunder mug (as they say). Sorry if this discussion is a bit disturbing. :?
We are going to Alberta in 9 days!! It will be my kids' first airplane ride.
and I love Vegas. drove there one year-24 hours each way, what a trip...
Our parents brought us to Reno when we were kids, and I remember seeing a movie being filmed on the streets below our hotel.
Well, our grandma wanted to visit Vegas 'cause she went there many, many years ago and wanted to see what it looked like now. apparently it's changed a lot (and from what I've heard of the old Vegas, it sure has). We stayed in the Excalibur (I believe it's the cheapest (price wise) big hotel) and toured the other hotels. I saw the Cola museum but it looked like a gift shop.
I heard that one of the best bathrooms was in Vegas so I just had to see it! It was said to be at Terribles hotel/casino. We went there and while the bathroom was nice, it was no best bathroom! Apparently, the best bathroom is in the Terribles gas station! (marble sink, gold floors [I'm not sure about that], bathroom service at the touch of a button, the works!) I got kicked out when I was looking at grandma's gambling victory (won five dollars? Maybe that was in MGM Grand). The gas station was off the strip so I decided that a bathroom's a bathroom. . . But a bathroom with stalls so clean, you could drop cheese whiz and lick it off! (I'm serious. Clean as a whistle [that's what I heard at least) We left and the taxi driver got a kick out of my quest.
We went to a buffet at Terribles hotel/casino and woowee! They had everything. From bacon to baklava, rolls to rotisserie chicken, they had the works! I wanted to go to the buffet at Exalibur but nobody wanted to go 'cause one person didn't like it in the review.
It felt like we were there for a week even though we were there for a few days. If we go again, we would only go for a day. We didn't go for the gambling, that's for sure.
My favorite thing about the trip was the plane flight. We flew to to Las Angelas for the TS audition thingy and I enjoyed it just as much even though the view was covered with clouds.
Well, that's enough.
I try to go twice a year. Usually I stay at MGM. I guess I gamble alot because my rooms are usually comped
I actually saw the Rita Rudner show at NYNY. It was ok but it was mostly aimed at females.
and yeah, we dont go to the theatre unless it's a great new cartoon like the incredibles or shrek 2-and then always a matinee-I havent seen any 'grown up' movies in years, & nothing live action that didnt involve a super hero...
we have a new 2nd run theatre now though-3$ admission, and a great menu-pizza, burritos...and beer if you're into that.
man, I'm starving-havent been home yet today...
Whoo! 3 dollars admission! . . with beer!
Incredibles & Shrek 2 were terrific, shark tale was surprisingly good.
if we go to a regular theater (2 of us)-matinee, buy popcorn & a drink, maybe candy (if we dont sneak any in that is)-and he plays video games in the lobby-you're talkin' $25!
My brother worked at a theatre for years, we got in free-never work a job where you cant 'make your own benefits' (said as I sit here typing on the internet using the state's computer, eating a browine from the kitchen, getting ready to relax & read a people magazine out of the school's mailbox-LOL)
